RS = really slow
LS = little slow
GS = god damn slow
GS-R = good speed racing

J/K I don't know off the top of my head. Do a search though and you should find out.

*scoff* that hurts ^
one of my friends told me it was Rally Sport, Luxury Sport, Grand Sport, and Grand Sport Racing. that is definitely not a reputable source so those may or may not be right.

Many theories abound.. but realistically, they're just letter combinations.

In a nutshell, the RS is the lightest model with the fewest features (no sunroof, no ABS), whereas the LS and GS models have more features (like leather upholstery, a sunroof, etc.) and consequently are a bit heavier.

The GS-R, however, uses a different motor than the rest of the model range. The B18C5 motor has many unique features, most important being the VTEC cylinder head. This head features larger valves and ports and of course, the bespoke valvetrain with two cam profiles each for both the intake and exhaust cams.

All the remaining technical information about each model grade is included in the Integra FAQ.

The GS-R rocks the first model in the line up with vtec, which is the real deal... being an engine of B18C1 , B18C5's being represented in the Type-R Models...

TheOtherDave is right though, check out the FAQs he left linked,
and check out some of the following links for a LOT of valuable knowledge.

http://auto.howstuffworks.com/
(Try some searches for things like "Clutches" "Vtec" and other things of the such, if you don't come across them browsing.)

Lotsa articles many of the people here will probably direct you to in the future

and while you're at it, do yourself the favor of picking up a tech manual from yur local VIP or wherever..
you can download one from http://www.hondahookup.com/ as well...

Welcome to HAN, by the way. :wiggle:

edit// Oh, duh... and obviously, read all kinds of the threads already made here! The Search button is hot seks. :boink:
