people with GSR

 

I had a 4-1 before the turbo. I had no problems with it, except getting it in.

 

i got a 4-2-1 comptech one and i love it i am selling it if u are intrested!! cause i am going turbo so i have no use for it, and that header is one of the nicer ones on the market

 

4-2-1 DC SS header and I love it

 

4-1 as long as it comes in a 2 piece so it is easier to put on

 

So what is the going price for the header and does it have a CARB number?

 

It does have a valid CARB EO number stamped on it, but if you have a 99 GSR, it won't fit since it is made for the 94-01 LS and 00-01 GSR. You could make it fit by either having it modified for the longer 94-99 GSR cat, or by running a 00-01 cat.

 

I'll make it fit, I'll kick that shit in there until it snaps into place. J/K Well that sucks...I guess I missed the part where the yr. was mentioned. I had a 4-1 Kamikaze (no carb number) I was somewhat skepticle about the name brand, but really dug the design of the 4-1. It tucked very well under the car and made good power too. I liked it. It was a decent header. Then I got pulled over, and most of you all know that story. So Shmoo, where's the 4-1 you used to have? Lying around in the garage maybe? Or did you sell it already? Just curious...what kind of header was it?

True story. I had to get rid of it because it was taking up too much space in my garage and I needed the money. It was a DC sports 4-1 Ceramic. Ended up selling it on ebay for $99 shipped. :sad:
