Ya, I don't expect anything out of it, I just wanted to replace the part I already had. I havent even been paying attention to that car for the last while now though because I've been too busy. I just came back to it today and realized that it wasn't even the ignition that I was missing, rather the ignition coil.. Ya, I smacked my forehead.. Anyway I got a new coil today and will just install it with the current ignition. Just got home so it will have to wait till tomorrow, but I was noticing that in the diagram that shows how to install the ignition it has all the wires going into the distributor, I would have expected to hook some wires up to the key in the steering column, can someone explain to me why they go into the distributor instead please? Thx.
