Here is what Jay aka GripForce had to say about ACT. Mind you, he's probably the number one seller of clutches on Ebay.

"We really don't sell the ACT because they are merely a repackager of clutch kits. They buy the components from Exedy, Valeo and Sachs and modify and paint them. ;-)

So, he's saying that ACT is lying?

"ACT manufactures and builds their unique pressure plates using specially designed diaphragm springs to maximize clamp load and clutch life." from the ACT website.

So, that should be false advertisement, right? Somebody call their lawyers and sue!

I have ACT w/ prolite. No complaints here.

clutchmaster. (of course I know their drivers!) I think they are better than competition clutch, which feel stock to me.

On my b20vtec I have a stock flywheel with a act 6 puck non sprung disk. Works good for me.

Stock clutch > clutchmaster. The stock clutch for my 92 lasted past 100K miles. The clutchmaster I replaced it with is slipping like mad at less than 50K.

bought a OEM replacement clutch kit from this guy before.. works well haven't had any problems so far (30k miles)
