Default home made exhaust

i noticed the other day while i was tightening down my heatshields again that there was a huge crack going all the way around my resonator(not leaking tho), right after the cat. im guessing that this should be taken care of in timely fashion, so my roomate and i are going to weld up a b pipe(or whatever the large section in the middle is) and while we are at it, try to do the axel back too.

my question is, and i haven't gotten much of a chance to look at it, but how hard will it be to get mandrel bent pieces welded together right to match the axel back section?

and before you give me shit about it, if i have to, i can buy an exhaust, i just think this would be kind of fun since im not in need yet.

thanks

yeah, the b pipe looks easy, im just woried that the axel back may have odd angles that are hard to find sections for.

yeah i did my axle back cuz a friend of mine had a nice cannister that he had just taken off his car, so I pieced together an axle back pretty easily in less than a few hours, but having an uncle who builds his own stock cars from scratch, using his tools, makes things extremely easy! It was quite fun to me and it added a great sound to my car!

im most likely going with 2.25 inch, just in case i boost her someday. i plan on getting a cherrybomb/glasspax as a resonator right after the cat, but i do not know what kind of muffler to get, any suggestions?

PS i wanna go kinda cheap on the muffler, just to proclaim the budgetness of this project.

Lemme know how this works out... I may be looking to build my exhaust in the near future.
