Why didn't you stick those in before the dyno?

I'm confused?
I don't know much about dyno's and stuff yet..
but a gsr engine is stock 170 (not to the wheels though?)
but even if they're 170, not whp, with all that stuff in the car, shouldn't you have a little more hp?

also, if a gsr isn't 170whp, what'd that be?

the 170 rating is at the crank. which is 140-150whp.

WHP is what is put to the wheels, 170 is what the GSR is rated at the crank.

alot of things can detract from the WHP-- a/c, p/s pumps

whp will always be lower than the crank horsepower, that is unless the wheel is conected directly to the crank

So if the 170 crank = about 145whp, and he has:
aem short ram
itr header w/2,5 collector
full 2.5 header back exhaust
vafc2
b&m FPR
gsr TB bored to 64 mm
timing at 18 now
8.5 mm plug wires(big deal i know)

why's he not pushing more?
