If you don't have enough oil pressure, VTEC will not engage.

could someone interpret that last post, damn i cant believe people type like that...sorry. not that it counts for much, but where vtec initially engages at 4700 rpm, id say his leak is causing pressure problems with vtec oil lines...

OK dude....believe it or not, u just might be burning oil. U may not be able to see it out of ur rearview mirror or anything, but Im pretty sure thatz what the problem is.

ok u guys, so i've got the oil pan and stuff fixed. the car odenst seem to accelerate still! heres something i've found tho. one of the fuel injectors isnt as IN as it should be, so there might be a leak on one of the fuel injectors, all i have to do is tighten the 10mm bolt on the fuel rail but my tools are far away (1.5 hours away) so i was wondering if that would MAYBE be the problem?
