Broken antenna mast
Does anyone know if I should follow the same instructions for replacing the antenna mast if the motor is broken? I saw in the instructions that the motor has to pull in the cord with the teeth; still possible if the motor is broken?

To replace the motor you have to remove the panel inside the trunk to gain access and then pull it out and replace it.

my antenna is busted too, but i can't get the freakin nut off...did you have the same problem? my antenna is like, stuck part way up, so it doesn't go all the way down...i've tried a hammer & screwdriver, pliers and even snap-ring pliers like the stupid manual says, but the nut just won't budge.

I got mine off with pliers but it scratched the shit out of it. It is only torqued to 1.7 ft/lbs, so keep trying. If all else fails, get the tool from the dealer.
