build 4 boost?
i'll go ahead and ask what every other person who knows anything will ask, what are your goals as far as hp? cuz that puts things more into perspective as far as what you need to look at... they say you can run boost on stock internals and to a certain degree that's true, but to be safe forged pistons and rods is a great place to start, as well as an ecu upgrade so that you can have it tuned...
LS motors are good for boost, because you have that lower comp. and long geared tranny, yet your head is pretty restrictive. For the same price of buying a used, complete vtec head, and conversion kit, you could buy a bolt on turbo kit. I spent almost $1200 on my setup and I coulda dont it for less! You could safely run 10psi on your motor with a uberdata/crome tune. Buy all this stuff
XS power manifold
XS power wastegate
Used saab/volvo T3 turbo
dsm denso 450cc injectors
255lph pump
intercooler piping
greddy style bov
28x6x2.5" fmic
2.5" custom d.p.
vacuum lines+t'ees
injector seals+resistors
uberdata/crome basemap
I think thats about it. You can get all that for uner $1000 and at 10psi on an B18B motor, tuned I have seen almsot 280whp!

:sigh: The longer gearing in the LS tranny is another Internet turbo myth. I have run both an LS and GSR tranny and the GSR is 10x better than the LS. The whole 'longer gears, stays in boost longer :blah:' is a joke.
There are also other solutions out there for EMS than uberdata and crome. IMHO: AEM EMS > Neptune > Crome/Hondata > Uberdata > VAFC > * (based on my experiences)
