Dry kit has nothing to do with it. I'd rather run a dry kit than a single fogger wet kit any day of the week.

Let me guess, you're still running the stock B20 bottom end to 8k or past, and on nitrous? Bad move. But we need a lot more info than it "went boom."

I think a wet kit would be more friendly to poor tuning, inadequate injectors, etc.

nitrous on a b20 crank and thin block reving to 8k is what went wrong.

chances are you'll have to change the engine and not just "the piston rings you fryed"

The stock injectors are fine for dry shots 75 and under...above 75 and you should be going direct port anyways. There's still a lot that can go wrong with a wet kit, and you still need tuning.

Wrong. The B20 crank is the same as the LS, it's fine. The problem with revving the stock B20/LS block to 8k is the rod bolts...not the cylinder walls, and not the crank.

 

Nitrous only kills your engine quicker, and if its not fine tuned Id say expect bad things to happen.

Lets just say for instance what you did blowing your engine.:doh:

 

Nitrous doesnt kill motors....stupid people running nitrous kills motors.
