As high as you want, as long as you don't detonate...get a good tunable system and you can go high.

What size shot?
What type of system? Dry? Direct port?

What fuel grade? 91? 93? 110?

For a dry single port system and 91 octane, the stock CR of 9.2:1 is perfectly adequate.

If you're building a B18B specifically for nitrous and street gas, you could go up to 10.5:1 with relative safety... just watch out for detonation.

He'd be fine at 11:1 too, that's what a stock RSX-S is. Ignition timing can be retarded and colder plugs run to combat detonation. Above that, and I'd get something more tunable, just to be safe.
