ok i got a 92 teg. 4 door .power windows. Master controls on the driver side. ok heres the deal. using those controls the driver side window will not roll down, but will roll up fine (i know because it use to roll down) the front passenger side window will roll down (with help) but will not roll up with the driver controls. the back left window works perfect. and the back right window will roll down fine but not up. All but the driver side window works fine with its own control, but not with the master. What is causing this? Switch malfunction? I know its not the motors cause they work fine on their own switches? Any help anyone?

 

maybe the wiring is out of wack

 

well see ive had the car for about a year and a half. and its all slowly quit working. the only wiring i've messed with is the radio, and amp wiring.

 

:thinking: umm...one of ur grounds might be messed up...or a wire got loose somewhere..... :dunno:

 

well i took the door panel off. Checked the wires. Unplugged and replugged every connection that i could get to. Just making sure the plug is getting good connection. Im about out of ideas. :thinking:

 

anyone else know anything i can try, its annoying, especially since my ac doesnt work either

well maybe the motor only works one way. try changing it and see if it works

 

I have a similar problem....2 dr, pass window will go down, not up from the drivers side controls. I've cleaned the switch and contacts on the drivers side but not the pass side.....
