Default Integra GRS vs LS Manual transmission

Hi!

Is '98 Integra GSR manual transmission compatible with '98 Integra LS manual transmission? [ My LS tranny broke and I'm getting a used GSR tranny for less - trying to figure out if its worth spending the bucks or not.]

Thanks.

Yes it will work on your LS. You'll accelerate a little faster, most noticeably in 3-4-5. It won't be a huge difference though.

You will realize higher RPM's at cruising speeds as well so it will have a negative effect on gas mileage - FYI.
