70 Automatic Transaxle

Which doesn't make any sense cause you have a manual car. Re-check the code. You sure you did it right?

yeah...I tripled check...seven flashes (same speed) then nothing after that...then it repeats the same seven flashes. This sucks....Thanks for the help though!

don't know if this helps but a few days ago, this happened months before also, while I was cruising at about 45 mph in 4th the car seem like it was slowing down slightly, rpm and mph guage didn't drop more than 100 rpm, but I could feel the gas pedal lose a little pressure before going back to the previous position.

Is your car a swap or is it the original motor?

you wouldnt get a check engine light if your synchros or tranny went bad.

I suggest rechecking. You sure it isn't 71?

I re-checked again and it still shows 70, seven same-speed flashes (automatic transmission) thanks for your help and input.

Long extended flashes = 10
Rapid flash = 1

You sure it isn't 7?

If it is 7, then it's your Throttle Angle Sensor.

Check your TPS sensor connections. Have you recently installed a VAFC or anything?
