Default 98 GSR Coolant resevoir. Question on level.

I have a 98 GSR 105K. Perfectly maintained. Burns almost no oil. No smoke. It has a brand new radiator after a front end accident. I've been on some long trips and have kept a close eye on the level in the resevoir. I filled it up about a month ago. After about 2k I noticed its down quite a bit. Could this be a problem or is this typical? It has seen a bunch of high way miles and hot temps. Thanks!

It's possible that there was some air in your system, and that after 2k of driving, was released. Also, you may not have had the car fully filled after refilling the new radiator and coolant tank. Refill the coolant resovoir to the recommended level and keep an eye it. If it stays the same now, you're good to go. If not, you may have a small leak somewhere.

Coolant is never "used." It leaks either on the ground or into your engine.
