depends on what type of car and what you do.

if you drive a civic and altezza, and ur in ur 20's ur too old for that.

if you drive an NSX with some deep dish, chrome 20's and a twin turbo, never too old for that.

apc stuff 20 and under
full body kits - 23 and under
lips and add-on kits - never to old
turbo - never too old
etc.

As long as you can still drive them like they're meant to be driven. No 80 year olds driving 5 miles per hour on the freeway in a 12 second honda or acura.

Noobie question: whats the difference between lips, an add-on kit, and a full kit?

Do you think there is any way to change lights without looking like a 16 year old's toy?

There are days when I think about trading my integra for a quiet fourdoor w/ an automatic transmission. I'm 26 w/ no kids.

adding a lip is normally just a couple of inches on the bottom of the stock body pieces.. full body kits are normally completely different bumpers.

lips are usually a cleaner more simple look while full body kits or wild crazy and made of fiberglass which cracks real easily. Ruining the value and look for the car.

I laugh at some of these people that are saying you are too old for this or too old for that... If you have a passion for something, you are never too old. And if you think people are "too old" to use a certain part, you are just jumping on a bandwagon and doing what other people do, rather than searching for individuality. Whatever you want to do to your car, do it, its your car, who cares what other people think? My .02

yeah, that's about right integral. I was saying shit about ricers to my cousin. and he just looked at me and called me an idiot. Who the hell am I to say shit about someone who makes their car look different. Now, the personality of the modder is an entirely different thing.

So anyway. like he said, if its your thing, do whatever you want to your car. but try to be original, and tasteful.
