I did what this guy did except for the bumper. It just has to be fanagled out of there, once you undo the 2 or 3? bolts/screws holding it in place.

My front bumper isn't hard to take off. Just two bolts and the screws ontop..

Yeah, once you've taken off your bumper once, it's pretty quick.

On my 98 GS-R, though, it was:
- four bolts underneath
- the screws on top (with that metal flange piece) -- about 8 total?!
- four bolts on top (two on each corner: one bolt pointing down, one bolt pointing out)
- one screw (facing forward) in each front wheel well

Elapsed time..... about 3 minutes, IIRC.

The screws holding the metal piece on don't need to be removed.
