Default gauges problem

I am still fighting with these glow gauges. The problem that I am having is finding the parking light to hook the transformer up to. or could i just hook it up to a fuse? if i can't get em to work I am gonna have to buy a new gauge cluster off ebay because these bastards are already glued on top of my original gauges.

Are you trying to get the new faces to light up at night? If so, on my 94 RS, the red wire with black stripe going to the back of the cluster is the one that lights up the gauges. I hooked up a light for some external gauges on this wire and the lights come on only when I put my parking or headlights on. I hope this helps, and if I am way off, sorry.

is the wire hooked to one of the harnesses? also where should i connect the ground? can I just connect it to a screw or do i have to connect it to the frame of the car itself? also is buying a grounding wire kit worth it?

When I grounded my cd player I just did it on a screw in the metal rack behind the radio and its working so im guessing you can ground it in many places. :dunno:

Yeah the wire is on the back of the gauges, on the biggest (I think) harness (pretty sure it is the one right in the middle). It is extremely to buy some wire taps and tap into that sucker. There are a few bolts by your feet that are fine for grounding. Just make sure the bolts go into metal.
