Alright... a new policy is being implemented.
Right now and right here, starting with this thread.

There is a serious problem with threads being dragged off topic by totally unrelated conversations and questions. All of these "off topic" questions and responses are now subject to deletion and/or warnings.

The forum is literally falling apart when almost all the threads stray from the topic.
I won't let that happen. :a:

If you guys want to chat about movies and what-not, do it in the Basement forum.
Not here.

Not sure about looks, but all 94+ clusters hook up the same. I had a problem with my gas gauge and speedo gauge, so i bought a gauge off a 94 LS get, and just swapped the front peice and they hook up the exact same way.

94+ clusters look the same as far as shapes...as far as where they redline it depends what model you get the cluster from...not sure if it'll work on yoru civic harness though

im looking at this one:

is this a gsr? im guess the thing that looks different is the actual red lines for the redline. in shmoo's it looks like the red line is solid, however in the one above it is small red lines. maybe i just cant see correctly.

I really don't know what cluster that is. The little key light at the bottom near the maintenence required looks like something I have never seen.

It could be a GSR cluster, or it could be some other model that redlines at 8k. Either way it should work since you are getting a GSR that redlines at 8k.

That cluster is the same one I have in my 2001 GSR. The little key light is for theft deterant. The ignition key has a micro-chip in it and if the correct key is not inserted, it shuts off the fuel pump.
