Hood scoop for something other than intake??
I was thinking about it..
I know theres the foolios that put a hood scoop on their car and it doesn't even go anywhere... ghey.
and then there's people who have one that does something.
Are they always just intake?
or has anyone heard of using it for something else?
(I was thinking maybe a ducting to blow air onto a turbo's snail? or something of that nature?)

Blowing air onto a turbo snail won't do anything. They are usually oil cooled and a little extra airflow won't even come close to lowering the temperature of the center bearing section enough to warrant an ugly hood scoop.

I'm not a fan of them either (not to keep the revival up, sorry, Dave.)
If I did was I was slightly considering, I'd have it on a spare hood...
