Alright, the issue is definitely fuel related. I can turn my radio on and listen to CD's but the car just won't start!!! Last summer I exchanged my stock fuel pump for a Walbro aftermarket pump. I then installed a fuel cut off switch because hey... Integras are stolen a lot! So... anyhow the switch that I bought at Radio Shack went bad. I'm a busy guy so I twisted the wires together and put electrical tape around the two wires. Well needless to say the fuel pumps electrical is messed up... yesterday I turned on my car in the morning and nothing. Because my fuel pump is aftermarket when the battery is turned on you can hear it pumping gas... well I didn't hear anything... so I tested the fuel pump wire and theres no power is going to it. I'm thinking the only thing it could be is the main relay. Does anybody have experience in this issue? If so it would help a lot. Thanks!

 

ANything esle dead, what else is on FP relay/fuse?

 

Check the fuses.

 

I checked the fuses, nothing was burnt out... the fuel pump doesn't have its own fuse... so would i then turn to the relay?

 

Fuel pump does have a fuse, it's under your dash.

#18, 7.5amp, Blue/White for PGM-FI Main Relay, ECM.

Alright, thanks for the advice. Sorry, i'm freaking tired as shit from work. I'll get on that asap... if it doesn't work i'm gonna resolder the main relay, screw paying $65.00 for a new one at the dealership. I love you guys... seriously.

 

Alright guys... I found out that there isn't a fuse. I confirmed it by calling the Acura dealership and looking at wiring schematics in the Chiltons Manual. I didn't feel like soldering the main relay so I bought the new one... still no luck. Fuel pump isn't turning on, i'm lost. Any suggestions?

 

have you checked with a digital multimeter to see if there is even voltage at the fuel pump?

 

see.. I tried using one of those shitty light bulb indicators to see if it lit up when I apply power... that was my next step, I just bought a Fluke Digital Multimeter on Ebay so we'll see if there's continuity or not in the wires from the relay to the fuel pump. If voltage IS going to the fuel pump, then my fuel pump is obviously shot. Go figure. What do you think the issue is?
