i was driving home from a deli and all of a sudden i put the car in 5th and the motor goes plop and the rpm goes to zero, its stuck on the side of the road now and i couldnt open the hood to look at it cuz the latch isnt working. i think it might be the timing belt b/c it has been squeling once in a while.
the car wont start now i need help

Could be timing belt but you won't know until you open up the hood and take off the valve cover.

well a guy picked it up and i finaly got the hood open but still couldnt see the damn thing cuz of that big plastic case around it
hopefully he wont break my balls but if its too much money i willl get another car, maybe a s13 or s12 if i can find 1

if i do get rid of it i still have the 90 me and some friends want to do something outragous with it. the 91 has been worth it b/c for $1200 it gave me a ton of use, y cant honda make a affordable sport rw car, is that so much to ask, i will probly go with nissan b/c i am really good at drifting and have more experince with the sr20, i will miss the teggy but hopefully it is just the timing belt

 

did you blow a fuse? groundwire? might sound stupid but it happens

 

the guy looked at it and said the timing belt blew and i have some bent valves, he said since the block is so old i should get a used motor so he is making some call, maybe if its cheap and in better condition i will just get a turbo kit
