i have been having a similar problem, however my squeaks come only when the steering is turned @ any angle to the right while in motion. the noise stops right after I str8en the steering wheel. is this a case of the wheel bearing too?
this is exactly my problem and when i go over a speedbump....hmm

that could be wheel bearing or a driveshaft actually....to check if its a wheel bearing just lift the vehicle or the tire up so it free rotates and wiggle it vertically and check for excessive play...thats the simplest way...my guess is u have a wheel bearing that is starting to go
I don't have any play whatsoever in my wheel but I know for a fact that the wheel bearing is on it's last legs. Less severe cases will make a little metallic clicking noise when the wheel is moved at all.
