I change between 4-5K, depending on money and time. With nearly 169K miles on the clock, it stiff runs fine w/ 5W-30.... I <3 my Honda

I have to change at 3k. The thermal breakdown of the oil because of the turbo is too intense to allow much longer than that.

It's fine, I think I reccomended you those plugs anyways. Make sure you are gapping them though as they come to small. I change my non-plats about every 10k.

What spec should the iridiums be gapped to? BTW, I change my oil about every 3500 miles or so. My engine just hit 125,000 miles the other day. I will just try to swap out the plugs and get new wires by my next oil change...Also, how much should the NGK plug wires run me?

NGK wires are pretty expensive but the performance is second to none. A set will run upwards of $60-70. Iridium plugs should come pregapped but in case they are out of spec, use the guidelines on the underside of the hood for proper spacing. Off the top of my head, I think it is like .045" or so.

I run NGK coppers, replace every 10k or so...as Chanc said, make sure you gap them...they do not come pregapped. You'll be looking for a BKR6E plug.

Be careful gapping iridium/platinum plugs. If there is only a small tip of iridium on either electrode and you gap the plug, you just bought yourself a copper plug. Gapping them will knock the tip off leaving only copper. I think most iridium plugs have electrodes made entirely of iridium though, so you should be safe. Just a little FYI

Ok, I found some NGK Iridiums on ebay for a pretty good price. Should I go with these for my '94 GSR?:

Also, about how long would you say the NGK Iridiums last before they need to be replaced?
