Default Smoke from valve cover!!!!!!

Ok I am getting a little presurized smoke and steam(i guess) comeing from the hose on the rear of my 95 ls motor. What can this be? If I plug the hose with my finger it does not feel hot or anything but when I let it go it feels like it released all the pressure I just held back. Thanks for the help guys.

...ya 'cause there's only 1 hose on the back or your engine right?
are you talking about the "breather" hose that goes from your valve cover to your intake?

yah, from what it sounds like... wouldn't the simple solution just be to replace the hose?? Maybe if you could try explaining in a little more detail??

Well no the hose is disconnected! Cause of my intake. I noticed that it was doing that. The smoke-steam is white. Also When I step on the gas you can see it shot out a whole lot more. And where the hose hits the intake there is a bit of oil there.

i think he's refering to the hose that goes from the valve cover to the intake tube before the TB. The area where some people put a little breather on.

...ya man....that's what i thought it was. Where's the rubber hose? There should be a hose from the nipple on the valve cover going to your air intake. If you don't have the hose then you can easily get one and you should be set.
