I would get it fixed soon since the tapping is accelerating rocker arm wear. It wouldn't surprise me if you needed to replace the rocker arms when you take it in. And that isn't a cheap job...

my mechanic said to put 20w-50 into it and that should quiet down the clicking, and to use that through the summer time and warm weather but not the winter. if it keeps on doing it then its the rocker arm. but i'm still gonna get it checked out.
