i have a 91 acura integra with a b18, non-vtec. i was wondering if i were to get a gsr long bock would it come eith a vtec head and would it be compatable with my block¿
so am i supposed to just get a gsr head then rebuild my engine?¿? is that what u did or did u get a whole long block and exchanged the head for a gsr head¿
You can build your motor if you want, or you can just slap the head on there using the procedure explained in that link. You will need a P72 ECU as well for the GSR head.
wait one more question, if i were to do the LS vtec conversion with a gsr head and the do it like they did on their site how much would it cost me, and how would it stack up to a gsr?¿
Not going to be as fast as the GSR considering the compression difference but the torque out of the LS motor will be nice with the VTEC head. Not sure on cost, I haven't done any research on it.
