Paintin Mah Car
#13
I didn't sand it down far enough to need to use primer and you best keep your mouth shut. :-P I like the way my car looks with the wing and tail lights. It looked...Returded with a bare roof and Acura wanted flippin 700+ bucks for a factory spoiler.

I used the one step paint, I forgot the real name. It matches pretty well, its hard to tell right now, I have to wash the rest of my car. It wasn't too hard. The hardest part was probably sanding, and that’s just because its time consuming and I have tendonitis so it was murder. It’s hard to tell the difference between one-step and the factory paint if you only paint your roof because tegs have those rubber black strips separating the roof. Right now, a day after I painted, the roof seems sort of dull in some spots and has a queer texture. It should become shinier and smoother as the chemicals do their thing. This was my first time doing any auto paint with a spray gun. My total came to about 90 bucks, compared to Maccos estimate for my car of about 200. I will definitely be doing more painting! I did this all for my school senior project, so that’s why I have so many pics. I just hope that when I tint my windows it turns out well.
