In my experience I had to consider ground clearance, tire clearance, ride quality/comfort, and handling/body roll.

For me a modest drop was a good idea considering the tegs are already pretty low stock as well as having small wheel well clearance. I didn't want to bottom out at every bump or rub my tires. Then there is ride quality and handling performance. These go pretty much hand in hand. If you want both, a combination of higher spring rates for front and lower for the rear is good since ride quality is affected more by the rear springs. You can also change ride quality and handling with adjustable shocks but they can only perform as well as the springs they are paired with. That being said, I went with the pro-kits because they are a modest drop, and probably one of the best compromises for ride comfort and handling.

I tend to like H&R's choice of spring rates more than anybody else's. They do a good job of not encouraging more understeer than necessary. If you don't want anything drastic the OE Sport are a great choice, they don't lower the car a lot which is the main stressor of the stock shocks aside from the stiffer spring rates themselves.

If the ride height is a huge concern, you could always go with coilovers if you got the money for the real ones. I got Ground Control because I can't afford true coilovers, and I love them. They are on stock shocks and struts. I am down about 2 inches and I still get great handling, ride, and looks. Just something to consider. Good Luck
