so i see that some of you guys do say that the Eibach Pro-Kit is good with stock shocks... the reason im going thru this is because i need to drop my car and i hear mixed answers with these springs being good/bad with the stock shocks...

if they are good with the stock shocks, how long have you had them for and/or how long do you expect them to last before the stock shocks do blow out??? any answers is appreciated...

How old is your car? If you have a lot of miles, your stock shocks probably won't hold out for very long. The newer the better

I have the Pro-Kits with KYB AGX's right now, and I have nothing but good things to say about the combo. I do think it dropped me a bit more than 1.3", though. I only have about a 1 finger gap all around.

H&R  But if you want a mild drop, I'd say Eibach Pro-Kit.

the ride was close to stock. i only noticed it was harsher on large bumps, dips, or potholes. but cruising was fine.

the shocks still felt solid when i took them off. but keep in mind the car was practically brand new at the time, so the shocks were fresh anyway.

Like I've mentioned in other posts, I think it's always a good idea to change both struts and springs at the same time, otherwise, if you change them later, you'll pay labor again... that is unless you can do this all yourself.

Did a little searching and came up with this thread. It has helped answer a few questions, but in the process has raised a few others.

I will most likely be placing my order for shocks/springs towards the end of the week, but I am trying to make my final decision.

I visited a friend who has the same car as I. He currently has 17" Enkei's with low profile Yoko's (Can't recall exact size). He is running with H&R sports and Koni Sports (adj). I cannot even slip a finger between his front wheel and the fender well and his back is just a bit wider - barely get a pinky in there

I've decided that I don't quite want my car this low so I'm considering the Eibach Prokit and possibly the KYB AGX's or maybe the Koni Sports (adj), if I can get the right price. My question to the masses....

Does anyone have any pictures of 3rd gen Teg's that are sitting on the following:

Eibach Prokit & Koni Sports
Eibach Prokit & KYB AGX
Eibach Sportline & Koni Sports
Eibach Sportline & KYB AGX

I've heard so many opinions regrading any of the above setup, that I believe I would be happy. However, I would like to actually see a picture of the car on 17" or 15" with the above spring/shock combo. This will ultimately help me on my decision.

If anyone has pictures, please post them, submit a link, or email me along with the details. I would greatly appreciate it!
