Default A few questions...

Ok first question, has anyone ever bought one of those eBay exhausts that are "greddy style" or "apexi style" N1 catback? They're pretty cheap but I wanted to know how deep of a pitch they put out and if they're good enough quality
Second question, I've been wanting to change something on the front end of my car. I already have angel eyes but I want to do something about my amber corners. I used to have clear corners with black housing but they leaked and I hated them. I wanted to see if I could find some clear corners and spray tint them but does anyone know where I could get some clear corners that won't leak or will I just have to find some and seal them? Is there any that do not have all that etching in the plastic?
TIA!

Don't buy those crappy eBay exhausts. Anything that's a "*Brandname*-style" is likely to be crap. Save up and get the full GReddy Evo 2 system... it's worth it.

Also, I would just use silicone sealant to seal up the lights. That would work the best for the cheapest amount of money.

DO NOT spray clear corner lenses with the tint spray. i did that 3 years ago and the paint didn't hold up too well. my current blackhousing corners are doing good.

basically you get what you pay for. If you buy that "style" exhaust it is going to sound like a horny elephant or a can of angry bumble bees. So do the United States a favor and don't put one on your car! It wont do much of anything for performance, but it will sure anger everyone around you.

Ok thanks guys....a friend of mine is going to maybe sell me his skunk2 exhaust. He had it on his car for 2 months and now he's selling his car. I don't have much info. about it yet but I think that'd obviously be better than the "style" ones!
And I guess I won't do the spray tint on clear corners (thanks for the heads up LT)
....But I don't want normal clears...I just dont like the look on my green car...guess I'll have to deal w/ ambers

I have a '94 GSR with the "half and half" turn signal lenses. I was going to get some clear corner lenses and spray them all amber with stained glass paint. Are you saying that this is not a good idea?

Once again, thanks for the advice...def. not going to get an eBay exhaust now...just so tempting when you're low on funds and have the urge to mod
