Default modding the stock intake

whats the best way to mod the stock intake?

i took my stock air box off and the box that goes to the passanger fender(it got damaged when i got hit) ..and we ended up putting just an air filter on the end of the stock intake....

should i put the stock airbox underneath it? or buy a tube?

right now i have the stock black intake tube connected to a cone filter from autozone.. i removed the stock airbox set up and the part that goes into the passenger fenderwell.

so should i put the black airbox around the cone?

i would have just left it the way it is, i have the black box that the filter goes into on the car. it kind of acts like an icebox intake.

ehhh who cares.Either way is the same crap. The box will be a bit better because it has fresh cold air coming from the front of the car.

The DIY Icebox is a cost-effective way to supply cold air to the engine.

I'd buy a replacement airbox off eBay and follow the directions in the DIY article to build the ducting from thin-wall PVC.
