Default Gas Indicator is lying

Hi,

I have a 99 Intergra 2DR HBK. I had 85000 miles on it so far. recently I'm
noticing that, after I pump FULL gas, & start the car the indicator shows
FULL after a minute or so which was normal. But, after driving for 10 - 15
miles the needle drops 5-6 lines which is almost 25% drop. Do you know what
the problem is??

Today the needle is at the half for 160 miles. How many total Gallons of gas
does Intergra intakes & is it good at 160 miles/ half tank??

Please help me identify the problem.

Thanks in advance,
S.

The integra tank has something like 12-13 gallons, and I've never seen an accurate needle for a gas tank in a non-luxury car.

And 160 gallons per half tank is acceptable.

the tank's right at 12 gallons, and all honda/acura gas needles aren't very accurate. 160 for half a tank is pretty good...puts you at about 26 mpg or so.

The speedometers and tachs are not that great either, accuracy wise
