Default 13s GSR

I have a car right now that I'm going to retire to just the track. I want to get an Integra GSR, but I don't want to turbo it because I already have a badass turbo car. I was wondering how much it takes to get these GSRs into 13s (no turbo, nitrous, or engine swaps). Like a price range/upgrade path would be awesome. Thanks everyone.

my brother hit a 14.6 with intake, 2.5'' header and exhaust system, and drag radials in his 96 gsr. with some weight reduction, slicks, and cams, 13's isnt too far off.

You'll probably need 190+ whp. Cams/valvetrain, good header and exhaust, intake manifold. I'd also get a clutch and lightweight flywheel. Then like snoopy said, some drag radials and good driving.

My buddy ran a 14.3 quarter at the track a couple years ago, and his only mods for his '99 GSR were no muffler, and no power steering belt! Stock clutch and I am almost certain he was just on street tires too. So maybe just find a "special" gsr like his (well maintained) and work on a good launch.

I was just joking about it being "special"...but for real though, that's what he really ran with just those mods...He scanned and posted his time slip on team integra a while back. And its not like he got that time on his first run. He was down at the track all the time. Sorry, not trying to send this thread in the wrong direction or anything...

190 is a little light to push a fat integra into the 13's.

I've seen plenty of 190 whp integras into the 13's.

Headwork, port/polish never hurts and is a good power adder. I would say it's heart where everything flows through, opening up stuff around it is good, but opening the airway is even better.
