Concerning ls/vtec head gasket?????

Default Concerning ls/vtec head gasket?????

I know that the bore size for a b18a is 81mm.what happens if a use a head gasket for a ls/vtec conversion with 82 mm?

Do you have a spare 82mm gasket or something?

It should be fine, but an 81mm would be ideal.

Factory headgasket is only around $50-55 bucks. Well atleast my price is.

golden eagle offers oem headgaskets bored out to almost any bore needed.

What's the point of having any other gasket size then 81mm anyway? All the B heads have 81mm combustion chambers and an extra 1/4cc of gasket material isn't going to significantly alter the combustion chamber volume or flow profile of the engine. :thinking:
