the aem bypass valve will tear apart and go into the throttle body, bad idea, they stopped making them for a reason. second, shortram works just as effectively as any other intake over 30mph due to the speed of air flowing through the engine compartment. sorry you wasted your money on the cold air. and dont say it dyno'd at more HP because sitting on a dyno theres no airflow.

get a bypass and also if u installin it if the wheelwell isnt messed up you should be ok about keepin the water out i live in ny and water never gets in and we get a lot of rain, havent gotten to buyin a bypass
