My sister is looking at buying a 1996 Integra LS coupe. It is in mint condition, auto, factory alloys, sunroof, with 119K miles. Would $5,300.00 be too much for the car? My exprience is limited to Accords so I thought I'd ask.

P.S. I looked it up in the blue book. Private Party had it around $4,400 or so and Dealer had it around $6,400. So $5,300 is somewhere in between.

 

Slightly too much, but if it really is in as good a condition as you say it may be worth it if she really likes and wants that car.

yea, too much, i would never buy from dealer anyways (my dad's a car sells men, even he says dealer is the last resort place to buy a used car). i was looking at a teg with 125,000 miles 95' for $4,500 and i passed on it (condition was not impressive).

offer 4,400 then offer 4,500... then walk home, come back the next day and see if he will do 4,550.

if not, dealer sucks.
