So let me ask this since the B16 has no tq would you say that about the B16B Civic Type R motor as well.It has 117 lb tq vs B16A1 111 tq. What's the tq on B18C's then?

You need every bit of torque you can get with a Honda motor, so go for one suited best for the chassis you are working with. A B16 is a poor choice for a 2nd/3rd gen Integra because of the added weight of the chassis. Couple that with a transmission that has long gear ratios and you have one slow ass car. It will be good on gas but if you are looking for acceleration, you won't find it with that combination. If you insist on the B16, you must mate it with a tranny that has short gear ratios like snoopy said.

but wouldnt the b16+ls pull a lil on each gear? for example both launch both b16 tranny shifts but the ls pulls a lil. then ls shifts to second and keeps extending its lead. thats what im thinking.
