rim offset question

im trying to buy a set of bbs lm for my type rand i want to know if a 17x8 with a +40 offset will they fit? prompt responses would be appreciated thanks!!!!

I think there is no need for that big of a rim on a itr, unless you have some sort of ungodly power or brake system.

I think the 8 inch wide on 17s might have clearence issues but I am not 100% on that.
