Default Help I Think Im Getting Scammed!~

Hey guys, im a newbie here but i got an important question i need help with fast! I got my integra at CCI motorsports right now. the guy building my engine has kept telling me he can get me "this and that" for a little more money... and so far everything has been good... BUT he told me instead of the type R pistons I Was going to use he could get me some JE pistons so I said alright. anyways... i went to check things out today and i looked at the pistons... to me they just didnt seem to be what JE pistons should be... they said PR4 on the top and I know stock pistons have the markings on the top... but do the JE pistons have this marking? If anyone has some pics of PR4 pistons, JE pistons and type R pistons or any advice please PLEASE let me know. bluespeed33@yahoo.com Thanks guys and please only leave info that you know for a fact is true... any info on how to tell pistons apart. thanks!

PR4 pistons are OEM LS pistons. Type R pistons would say P73. JE pistons would not fit stock rods, and would look similar to this depending on comrpession height:

You're getting scammed.

You're positive they are Hbeams? They wouldn't fit OEM PR4 pistons.

Master Yodub is right homie. Sounds like dude is taking you for a ride. Stick with your original plan if you can and have words with that guy, get management involved. Any possibilty for exposure to getting them recognized as a shotty business is bad news for them. So if in doubt make a stink.
