Default gsr pistons? i need more power!

yeah i got a 96 gsr wit exhaust ,intake and short shifter, but im not really satisfied with the power i got. so im lookin to get somethin extreme but not too pricey to make a difference. i was thinkin like pistons or valves or something... im not too experienced with all this so i could use your ideas and opinions. and im trying to stay all motor, im not really into the turbos and superchargers... yet... lol

...and if you kno where i can purchase these parts, like a website, include that too if u can.

thanks in advance.

I'd get cams and valvetrain first.

Plus a high flow cat and a basic tune, and you'd make some decent power for the money

That's a great start to gaining some internal power. A good street/strip port and polish wouldn' hurt either, accompanied by a port matched intake manifold and throttle body. Topped off with a decent 4-1 header and some del sol si domed pistons to bump up the compression ever so slightly. I'd check www.modacar.com www.darksidemotoring.com www.trixracing.com or www.speed-garage.com or www.speedgarage.com I'm not sure on the hyphen.
