Hey if you dont mind a "newbie" to the honda-acura.net area i know how people do that conversion..... I was down at a drift comp in the norteast and i was talking to a fellow teg driver and he had a rear wheel drive integra and i asked him how he did it. He told me that he took the drive train and what not out of a honda CRV did a few mods to it and installed. thats how he did it but not sure exactlly what parts you ave and what not but thats how this G2 integra driver did his.

If you've driven a light RWD car and really want the purest handling and steering feedback possible, I'd say yes. Also, if you intend to make massive amounts of horsepower and want to keep torque steer out of the picture, then yes, it does make sense.

Like I mentioned eariler in the thread, Braille Auto Development has a RWD conversion package. This conversion comes from their experience building their own RWD Integra -- I think for Formula D competition.

I do have a few lingering doubts about reliability. Which is why I'd like to know more about the components used by Braille. If their RWD conversion is happy with 275+ wheel hp, then I might look into it at some point.

EDIT: But I'm the kinda guy who gets carried away when it comes to projects of that nature. So I freely admit that from a financial standpoint, it doesn't make a lot of sense. h:

When factory rear wheel drive cars are availible for half the price of a conversion (RX-7's, Supras, Z cars, etc,) I'd have to say no.
