Default HELP! tapping sound

Recently bought a '01 gsr. just noticed that the engine makes like a light tapping sound when it idles. Almost like it was low on oil. but its not. The tapping continues when i rev the engine. Is this a normal sound or no. I plan to get it checked out by a garage anyways. just like to know your thoughts. put my mind at ease atleast. thanks

Most likely your injectors or valves. GSRs are notorious for having loud ticking injectors. I wouldn't worry about it.

But...depending on mileage, you may be due for a valve adjustment.
How many miles are on the car?

It's only got 19,000 miles, so i don't think it would be a valve adjustment. I bought it used though so i don't know what could have been done to it before me, like over revving it or something. Would bent valves be really loud? Suggestion about injectors sounds like a possibility. Any other suggestions.

Bent valves would be a much greater problem, and the chance of that being the case is next to nothing..

Given the low mileage, the cause is most likely noisy injectors, like Brett mentioned earlier. I wouldn't worry 'bout it.
