It will not work for you because civic uses one bulb for both beams.
I have that one my coupe and regular 9006 on my sedan and they both seem to be the same crap. I honestly think it's not worth the time and effort. Not that it's hard or anything. Matter of fact I was driving tonn in the rain and I needed my highbeam to drive on the highway and streets I don't think it makes a diffrence.

i did the 9005 silverstar conversion a few years ago. the bulbs lasted maybe 6 months, and they were perfectly clean when i installed them, so it wasn't that. after they burned out, i put the stockers back in, and just recently i went with 9006 xtravision. those i like. definitely a better investment than the silverstars.

Thinking about the conversion too... I'll probably go with the Sylvania Cool Blue bulbs. Had them on my G2 and the were nice.
Still wondering about the bad effects though. I did quite a lot of research on the subject and did not really found any long term results... Do they melt the housing? Make the reflector part go bad? anything else?
LT6916: Are you using them a lot? what kind of weather do you live in? Summer time is around here so I wanna make sure there's no problem in doing the conversion.
Thanks!

I did the conversion with PIAA and its been over a 1.5 years now and no problems and I have the silver stars in my high beams. If the Piaas go out i'll swap the silverstars to the low beams and put stock back in the highs.
