Default Help me with my suspension!?

heyy there...
The time is almost at hand where my car will become closer to the ground... the problem is this... I live in Maine where not all of the roads are completley flat... and I don't feel the need to be dragging my car across the ground whenever the road's got a raise in it...

I don't know a whole lot about the subject, but I was thinking about getting Eibach's Pro-kit, (lowers the car 1-1.5in, which seems safe.) and then Koni's adjustable sport shocks....

Not sure what you all think about this, I have a buddy who I believe has done this to his car, and I'm gonna have to ask him how low his car got w/o scraping on shitty roads..

Thanks for any advice!

Only problem, as I mentioned above, is I worry a bit because not all of the roads around here are in the best of conditions.

The best thing about Most Spring kits are that the rates are progress, which means that when you are not driing the car hard it should ride pretty good over the roughest of roads, know in NC we don;t have as bad as roads as NY, but if you are going to lower you car and concerned about the ride due to the roads, I would skill go with the PRO kit and the Konis.

IF you went with a threaded sleve or threaded body shock steup those springs are not progressive and will always ride stiff, so IMHO the pro-kit and koni is your best bet.

The Eibach Pro-Kit is a very good kit for what your wanting to do. & the Koni's are Very nice struts. Even if u wanted to stick with your stock struts for a while u could.. they'll just wear faster due to the Eibach's.

Eibach Pro-Kit Definatly recommended!

I have the prokits and yellows on my Teg, it gives it a decent drop and close to stock ride comfort. The only thing is if you have mud guards on it the front ones will scrap over speed bumps but still tolerable atleast for me.

H&R makes some OEM sport springs that will lower less than an inch, and are progressive. You would need coilovers or something to adjust ride height.

Try Ebay you can get the springs and shocks there cheaper than most places. I purchased my yellows from www.tornactive.com also for a decent price.
