Default Help with climate control blower vent control

So, after wading through a bunch of other climate control problem posts, I cannot find any with the same problem as mine...

My climate control is stuck blowing only from out of the upper/lower vents. If I hit the defrost button, the blowing does not change at all. The same thing happens with all buttons. I usually always have mine set on upper/lower but lately its been friggin cold and have needed my defroster. It worked fine just a few days ago..

Normally, when you change where the air is blowing to you can hear the motor changing the direction where the air is going, if you listen closely enough. I cannot hear anything when trying to change mine Anyone else have this problem?

I had a similar problem, except mine was with the recirculate button. I had mice get into my heater/AC duct, and build a nest. When I went to change from recirculating air from inside the cabin to pulling in fresh air, an acorn or something got wedged against a flap in there somewhere. Might be your problem, or may be something as simple as a loose wire or blown fuse, or even a mechanical linkage disconnected or broken.

your door vents motor is prolly fried. If its not fried, then something may be blocking the door from opening all the way.

when you hit the buttons, an actuator changes the vents. when you press the buttons, you should be able to hear the actuator a little bit(with the car not running and the ignition in the on position). can you hear it kick in?
