Type R oil pump
hello all, I have rec'd an alleged Type R oil pump. It is made by a usual Honda supplier "YAMADA". The casing has the wide sweeping spine on the outside casing, the profiled posts all look like a Type R. There are markings on the inside 2 tiny stamped boxes. One box says "AT", the other tiny box has either a "6" or a small scripted "b".
So what ?? Well, I can't find an "o" ring that fits the oil pump tip!!! I have looked thrx the B18 models and there is no match!! The ring space is 24mm by 3mm wide. Most b18 oil pumps take a 26x2 ring. I'm thinking there is something weird. Is there other oil pumps that mimic the Type R ?? I'll go look up del sol and more family engines. Thanks. Any ideas give me a holler.

ok mugwumps, It looks like a type r oil pump. I hope it fits like a b18 oil pump. I found an o-ring which looks the size. 24mm x 3.1mm. Guess where? I found this size o-ring on an Acura Legend 2dr 1995 6mt ......^*%^*^%(&*&(_&_*++!!!!!!! YIKES? Not quite.. This o-ring comes from the junction of the oil pickup to the oil pump- not the oil pump tip++++HAHAHA.
