are you saying faster and in make your car accelerate faster or actually make the engine put out more? is smode like overdrive?

 

Accellerate faster. The car is allowed to rev to the top of the power band, sending more power to the wheels.No. Overdrive is 4th gear in an automatic. The S3 option locks the car out of overdrive, and S4 will allow the car to shift into 4th gear overdrive. Both perform the same, except one won't shift into 4th. Normal "D" is 1-4 with lower shift points.
