The best part is the translucency (sp?) so much cooler than stock opaque red. So, around $125 for the full powdercoat job job? I have a stripped, sanded and polished cover, would that help in prepping?

I think you mis-read that. his 125 was his whole project including cost of valve cover.

I powder coat the valve covers for 50 & you are responcible for the shipping cost to & from my shop, or your welcome to drop it off and pick it up in person if your local.

i just recently painted my valve cover..i thought u guys could check it out..i pianted it with HIGH TEMP. paint made for exaust manifolds, blocks, heads, ect.

A job well done on all valve covers. I really don't know how I feel about the colors chosen, but I know that the work done on them looks quality.

You did a good job painting the valve cover. It looks to me that the exhaust manifold heatshield needs some attention. Spray some high temp black paint on that.

yea actually thats my next task...im gunna paint the heat sheild,tranny, block(where i can) flat black...i think that will look hot...thanks for reasuring my idea with your good taste..(we both said black)...lol
