Default ITR differences

Hey I'm not sure if this should be in the Integra or the ITR forum. But I wanted to know the exact differences between the two cars. I have one LS and one GSR, One of those I want to convert into an ITR (Probably the GSR). My LS I am thinking about going LS/VTEC with using the GSR motor. I will be purchasing a front clip. But I just wanted to know what other differences. like what suspension parts exactly and whatever I don't know. Thanx

the ITR chassis has reinforcments that other trims do not:

-thicker metal around the rear wheel wells
-thicker b-pillar
-rear LCAs are thicker
-different subframe
-better dampeners
-progressive rear springs

it really goes on...

I think the ITR suspension is considerably different, but I don't really know the specifics.
I hope you get a bunch of good responses.

Actually, it's not that different. Maybe the spring and dampening rates are different, but the suspension swap is not that big a deal. My GS has ITR springs, shocks/struts, lower control arms and an ITR rear swaybar. The swaybar is the only part that required much custom work to use (BEAKS kit). To use ITR rear struts I had to swap out my GS LCA's for ITR LCA's. The swap lowered my car very slightly and gave it a much firmer ride.

My LS I am thinking about going LS/VTEC with using the GSR motor.
from the sounds of this I hope you are not doing this yourself. LS/VTEC doesnt mean putting a vtec motor in an LS. Its adding vtec your existing LS engine.

You could probably sell both cars and buy a Type-R and have something left over as opposed to the money your gonna spend converting it over.

Yes! ITR with something left over = > one LS and one GSR swapped and chopped.
